Be sure to give proper care during the winter to ensure that the house is insulated for the purpose of keeping the dog warm. The house should be located in a well-drained area and raised above the ground to maintain the cleanliness of the dog.
One other thing to consider, if you have a dog that sleeps outside, is to be considerate of your neighbors. If you live close to other houses, the dog may bark which could cause some issues.
